How the guides are written
Every sentence on this site that states what an official page says is written from that page. Each such sentence is stored with the address of the page it comes from.
We use the government portal for these procedures and the city's own pages because they are the official pages. We prefer them to blogs and law-firm pages because they are the pages the offices themselves follow.
Before a page goes live, two independent reviewers open the source page and read each stored sentence against it. A sentence they do not both find supported is rewritten or removed. Every page shows the date it was checked.
What the guides do not do
- They are not legal advice and they do not replace a lawyer or a gestoría.
- They do not give tax advice or personal immigration advice.
- They give no monthly contribution amounts, because those change every year.
- They follow the official pages as they were on the date shown, and the official page decides.
Report a mistake
If a page differs from the official source today, the official source is right. Rules change faster than any guide, so check the source link at the bottom of each guide before you pay a fee.
